Think Pink Campaign Oct 03, 2011
By Pamela J. Robinson My employer has designated Wednesdays as "Breast Cancer Awareness" day, and encourages all employees to Think Pink by wearing pink to work on Wednesdays. They have even provided pink polo shirts with the company logo for all who are interested in participating. The polo is nice but I prefer a tee shirt under my lab coat; the collar of the polo isn't comfortable under the lab coat collar. This tee shirt is excellant quailty; not a flimsy cotten, but a subtantial fabric that will endure many wearings and washings. The tie dye comprises several shades of pink making it visually more interesting than so many other Breast Cancer Awareness shirts. And since it is different from the polos so many others are wearing, it allows me to stand out while conforming to the spirit of the day.
