The boots are just as pictured. The heels are stable and these are easy to clean, however they can scuff easily, all white shoes may.
it is an inexpensive nurse shoe, and the reason is there are not grommets all the way up. The top 6 or so holdings for the lacings are hooks. Lacing these will never be a fast thing, give yourself a good 5-10 minutes to do so, and there will be some give.
Great if you have larger calves, but yours are slim like mine, try to to wear thick rollover socks underneath.
