The Crisco itself is just fine, but the packaging was a disaster Oct 10, 2011
By Liz Neely The Crisco is fine, the same as that I buy at the grocery store. However, this was 4 heavy tubs of Crisco, and they were just put into a box with no padding around them - there were a couple air-pillows in there, but not enough to keep the Crisco from rolling around, nor to protect the thin cardboard and metal tubs. The result was a box with 3 smashed and 1 intact Crisco, with shortening everywhere including on the outside of the box.
